Five hurricane members have just returned from AOCRA Sprint Nationals at Lake Kawana, Caloundra, QLD. After training with and competing under the Rockingham Outrigging Club banner, competing at Nationals was a new, fun and rewarding experience for all. The weather was not kind with rain for most of the time
Hurricane paddled in the Mandurah Duel in their own Waka. Another first and the beginning of much more racing!
WAZA Outriggers Well done Hurricane on hosting your first regatta. It was a great day and well run. Big congratulations to all the support team. Many thanks to Map Farm Fresh for your support! Thanks Jan…
“When you go for a leisurely Saturday morning paddle, but your Iako snaps in half (in the harbor 😭) and you are left to MacGyver it into an OC3 and paddle 6km home.” #whentheweldbreaks
